NATIONAL BMCS UPGRADE INTEGRATING ENERGY MONITORING

Scope of Work:

S.J. Electric was tasked with the installation of a BMS system to reduce energy consumption, increase comfort and provide a platform for remote access, monitoring and control of the stores HVAC systems.

  • Installation of enclosures to house the BMS system components and client’s gateway equipment
  • Migrate the existing HVAC controls from the existing MSSB based plant controls to the BMCS EasyIO controllers. Consisting of a mixture of low level and high level interface control and monitoring of the existing HVAC plant
    • The existing MSSB modified as required to cut over any existing controllers to the new BMCS controllers located in a new BMCS panel
    • Integrate existing Refrigeration control and Solar PV systems to the new BMS for the purposes of monitoring
  • Installation and commissioning of all field sub-metering hardware including current transformers, meters, interconnecting cabling and communication devices for four to five sub metering points per site. Lighting, Refrigeration, mechanical services, and general power
    • Interfacing Lighting control to the BMCS via an additional EasyIO DDC Controller within the BMCS Panel
  • Configuration of the various equipment and ensuring validation of the collected data
  • Establishing a connection to the clients network
  • Supply of a QA and document submission to the clients’ stringent Standards
